Adeje is on average 280m above sea level. Due to the location of this village in the south you can enjoy many hours of sunshine a year. Adeje is growing steadily and there will always be on building new homes and apartment complexes. The old town charm with typical Canarian houses, narrow streets and lined with laurel trees in village squares and avenues. In the center of the old town is the beautiful church of Santa Ursula. All around the church square you will find an array of restaurants, shops and bars. To the municipality of Adeje are also two beautiful beaches of Torviscas and Fañabe . They are not as crowded as those in the tourist resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Both beaches are easily accessible, and fall flat, and above all, very suitable for children. Adeje is located in Barranco del Infierno (Hell's Ravine). This gorge is a very popular destination for hikers.
